Information About the Artist
Kathy Jahn is an award winning local San Francisco Bay Area artist. Specializing in
watercolors, she also enjoys other art mediums. Her painting subjects have a nostalgic charm
whether they be European scenes, Victorian homes, landscapes, rural American farm houses,
rustic barns, vineyards, grapes or her favorite florals and gardens. Giclee limited edition
prints are also available of selected paintings. Kathy's art is in numerous private and
corporate collections throughout the United States and the world. In addition, her art has
been published in various books.
With over 30 years in the art field, she has been in many juried art shows and one person
shows, and has won numerous local and national awards. Kathy established two different
art galleries in Pleasanton, California and owned and operated one of them for eight years
before selling the gallery to devote her time to her love of painting. Kathy is member of
several local, state, and national art societies and associations. Kathy has juried various art
shows, and she also holds watercolor workshops and teaches art classes.
Kathys’ artwork is currently showing at Berger Center in the village of Oakmont in Santa
Rosa, Sonoma County California, Saint Germain's Jewel & Art in Tiburon, Marin County,
California, and by appointment at K Jahn Studio in Sonoma County, California. Her
artwork is also shown at North Bay Area art shows during the year. Kathy can do
commissions from your favorite scene or photograph.
